ES S12F-G1433
This new-generation S12F series offers 4Gbps FC host ports and delivers best-of-class performance boosted by Infortrend’s exclusive ASIC400. Besides the dominant high throughput fit for the most demanding environments, it also enables flexible scalability through the built-in SAS expansion ports and simple manageability through Infortrend’s proprietary storage management suite, SANWatch.

Industry-leading Performance
As other members in EonStor FC-host RAID family, the new S12F arrays provide outstanding throughput via the 4G FC host channels whose performance is enhanced by the advanced ASIC400. Depending on various application needs, users can further fine-tune the firmware setting parameters to realize the best possible performance. S12F-R1432 is able to deliver 1,420Mbps Read and 780Mbps Write RAID5 performance. With the S12F, those enterprises challenged by rising performance demands in IT environments can find a satisfactory answer to their transaction-intensive applications.
Flexible drive compatibility
The S12F allows users to start with the storage capacity they currently need and scale up to a massive of 60TB as more capacity needs arise. Users can also flexibly populate the S12F and expansion enclosures with a mix of SAS drives to deploy tiered storage, which ensures the best ROI. No matter what level of performance, capacity and cost an application demands, users can always find the best matching solution.
Monitoring and Management
SANWatch: SANWatch provides all functions necessary to discover, configure, administer, and monitor Infortrends RAID arrays. Its unified GUI brings you simplicity in using all the features which enable data protection and high availability. Whether single or many, via Intranet or Internet, the status of your subsystems is always at your fingertips.
EonPath: The EonPath drivers coordinates with Microsoft MPIO, runs on Solaris and Linux platforms, provides fault tolerance for multiple data paths and load-balancing algorithms. The EonPath also enables access through an alternate path in the event of single cabling failure.
Applications
The S12F arrays are ideal for applications requiring high-speed transfer of large amounts of data, such as online transactions, disk-to-disk backup, database, medical imaging, media streaming, data mining and more. In the configuration of multi-fabric SAN, the S12F can be used to construct a Fibre SAN, responsible for the effective processing of critical business applications.
